Four missing items from MSM listed below:

    Asda Scotish smoked salmon 200g
Asda extra special Lincolnshire sausages 756g
    Butchers selection pork mince 750g
    Butchers selection whole chicken 1.35kg

Morning luvlies, a beautiful day out there :D

I had 19 showing for me when I posted on the old thread a few days ago. Just found my posts, have edited them a bit but the gist of it was I found a womble with 3 meat products on it that didn't appear on the APG.

"Anotherthing wrong with the receipt - they bought 2 x Lamb Steaks and 1 x chicken allpriced at £4 each. Multisaver on receipt shows a discount for Fresh Meat 3 for£10 (takes off £2). No meat showing on APG.
LambSteak 505244945246 (they got 2 of these) and Chicken 505244975487
Just had a look on MYS and only 19items showing for me in the 3 for £10 fresh meat offer - 23 items on sada. Thewhole chicken is missing for me on MYS. The sainsbobs might compare - 3 for £10, both 1.35 kg"

I found the womble in my small ex-netto, as they only have a limited selection of meat it shouldn't be too difficult to find the products (she says hopefully). Don't think I'll get a chance to pop out today as the greenhouse clean is a must, but I'll pop in tomorrow on the way back from work and have a look.

Very hard to make a living out of these snap and save things now with all this online baloney:(

What I've seen is that, even with the S&S back, the amount you've then effectively paid can be still more expensive than alternative brands (on the right comp vs someone else perhaps) or more expensive than 'trade downs' from brands to own-brands/'value' range items. No point getting 20p back off an item that is now priced £1 everywhere, but last week was on special offer at 50p somewhere.

Selective take-up of offers is again the key!! (Also don't be inticed simply because there's cashback - it could work out, even with the cashback, more expensive than an alternative - and equally good - option.)

Many thanks for looking for me - it's sometimes a long job to check (you can't just immediately see and I hadn't got the time). We're working well as a team... I shall keep an eye on those four items - much easier now, many thanks.
  • Good morning everyone - the sun is out and the sky is blue, there is a few clouds to spoil the view though, and it is 18 degrees out there!

FloFlo, hope it turns out to be nothing, equally hope he gets as quick appointment.

No way I can catch up on last night, looks like there was a good bit of chatter going on:D

Well hubby knocked my cough into a cocked hat last night, he found a lump in his chest!

Now I'm adding 2 & 2 and making 5, as last year he was constantly having blood tests as his white count was up. The doctors just said they couldn't find anything else and they weren't concerned but now ...
Flo its going to be a long day for the pair of you.

Just spoke to Tesco cs re my PP yesterday. He said it compares the whole basket not individual items. I told him the T showed on Sainsburys website at £1.74 yesterday and was found to be N/A on my receipt .He just basically said too bad if it does not compare at the time then that's it. I told him it is false advertising and i will be writing in to CEO with my screen shots of the item in question.
    Useless!

He will be getting a similar complaint from me as well ! Apart from several 'P off we don't give a monkeys' emails from CS, the latest one implies that I've been getting false PP's in the past, I shouldn't have got them and they are 'escalating' the matter ! Nothing like making the customer take the blame for their carpy system. I wonder why the Tesco system fails so often and they have had to make numerous changes when Sainsbury and Asda get it so right (apart from when MSM muddles the prices). The Asda APG system has been going well for years and the glitch last year was down to MSM not ASDA. Tesco would do well to learn from them.

Tenth Anniversary Combo Breaker Xmas Saver!
    Morning folks :)
You know the way trolley coins usually have charity things on them- well I found one today in a trolley in sada westie and it had a union jack on it:D:D

    Sada westie!!!!

I can tell you it wasn't mine, mine were Marie curie, a m&s 1p freebie one and a poppy ones. I lost both because my mum decided not to take the trollies back but give them to someone else to do it:mad: I only realised when I asked her for the 2 we'd used and she told me, by that time we were half way home. The M&S one got lost somewhere when I changed bags so can't blame her on that one.
