Not always. Depends on the driver.
Some people can do lessons for 8 hours a day for 365 days and still be terrible drivers and not pass a test.

Could help if you have already had plenty of single lessons before hand so basically know what you are doing. But taking an intensive course when you have never driven before, I can't see it working well.0
