Public Liability Insurance for Charity Shoot

Options
Hi there

Does anyone know a cheap way to get short term public liability insurance (£5,000,000) for a couple of dates to cover a charity photo shoot? As we have no budget the cheaper the better. :)

Thank you

See whether you can find any large broker locally that deal with arranging such cover. Without going into much details, I think it is difficult to give advice beyond that.

There are event insurance type brokers online if you search, but whether they offer what you want at the most competitive level I am not sure.
The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.

Are you a member of an organisation that already provides it as part of membership?
  • Hi Street Art,

I work for a Public Liability Insurance broker which covers photographers so might be able to pull a few strings here to help you out as it is charity related

Can you give me some information on the photo shoot such as location (studio/outdoors/etc), what is being shot and the charity it is related to?

Also who requires insurance (is it one person, a company, etc.) and what experience do they have as a photographer?
