Anyone know what's happening with Capital One's card range?

I only ask because I noticed a few weeks back they no longer sell the card I have 'Aspire World'.

Then today I notice they are no longer selling the 'Secured' silver looking card.

Are they retreating from the UK? I recall MBNA reduced their range when they thought they were leaving our shores..
Never argue with an idiot. Especially not this idiot because I'm always right anyway.

I think it was when BoA took them over - first they wanted to withdraw and flog the book to Virgin so reduced the range on that basis..the Virgin/MBNA didn't happen so actually they now have a fair range of cards..

I thought that mbna didn't get any decent offers when they were trying to sell so just carried on.

Just shut my capital one aspire card as they didn't pay the topcashback cash back, waited until I got the 5% spend credited though, no point cutting your noise off etc.

I noticed this earlier. Got the Aspire World last July, the cashback was credited in January, nice bonus for no work!

However I think I'll be binning it soon, 0.5% isn't wonderful, I get that from Nationwide with the added bonus of the free overseas purchases, so I have no use for Capital One now really.

Shame, since they were my first credit card, and I've held various CapOne cards continuously for nearly 9 years!

Didn't they use do have Visa cards? Or has it always been MasterCard only?
    Bad luck breeds bad luck.

    Damn I'm doomed.

Yep, my first was a Capital One Classic Visa. Recently they still had one, but it was only on their absolute bottom of the line card, all the rest were MC.
