Blocking People On Skype

Hi Folks

My son had me download Skype so that we can use it as an alternative to MSN. I kept getting emails telling me to change over to Skype MSN or something.

However, I keep getting random messages from people I don't even know and when I try to right click and Block Contact, it's greyed out and I don't know how to get rid of them?

I'm using a Mac Book Air.

Can anyone advise please?

On my PC it's Tools/Options/Privacy settings, change Instant Message settings to "People in my Contact list only". Regarding blocking are you definitely right clicking on the name of the sender rather than the message?It may all be different on a Mac of course.
