As advised, above, BG run Sainsbury's Energy, Sainsbury have nothing to do with it operationally, it's just a branding exercise. The call centres staff sometimes forget who they're fronting for.

Slightly off topic so apologies but had to get this off my chest - you would have thought a company the size of Sainsburys would at least make a decent stab at playing the energy game and install their own CS staff in the BG building, wouldn't you? It's just embarrassing that their 'customers' get a call from BG and they are not even aware that it's them that are basically administering their 'Sainsburys Energy' account.
