Company called SALESWIFT

Yesterday we had a flier posted through the door by a young man, ie it wasn't sent by post, which makes me a little suspicious. Not sure why..

It advertisers a Company called SALESWIFT.
The flier opens with the words

" We are extremely interested in purchasing your property!"
then continues
" We are Established Cash Buyers. We Guarantee you there will be no time delays and no costs to you Whatsoever. We will pay your legal fees....."
They promises a quick sale quote "Exchange Contracts within 24 hours and complete sale within 7 days " unquote.

Has anyone dealt with this company.
Sounds too good to be true. I assume they offer below market price to the seller? Any comments please. Thankyou

If you want to lose money by selling way below market value, follow this up. You'll be told initially what a good deal you'll get, but it will get gradually worse as time passes....
  • Dear G_M, many thanks for your reply. Sadly the only, but important, one so far. You have confirmed my suspicions. Thank you.

I had already warned a neighbour not to touch it with a barge pole.
She had asked me if I had seen the flier but I hadn't at that stage. It just sounded rather dodgy. I promised to investigate. By coincidence we are both considering moving, having been neighbours for years and years.

I will pass on your useful comment and also recommend she read MSE tips on selling houses and engaging and haggling wz Agents, Solicitors etc.

    Kind regards
    Croydon Croc.

PS A local agent , Cubitt and West, had already posted an ad to the street where we live and we have both invited them to tender. They also happen to be Ward & Ptnrs local associate, who are the selling agent for the property I am interested in.
