Night meter doesn't move?!
I have recently noticed that the night meter for my electric doesn't move and am therefore being charged the higher day rate unit charge for my usage, which is resulting in a higher bill than I should be charged.
Has anyone encountered this / know how to fix?
Many thanks

Have you tried contacting your supplier? :cool:0 -
Are you actually on an E7 tariff?
It appears that your timeclock or teleswitch has failed and is stuck on the day register.
Contact the supplier. They will estmate your billing and adjust it.No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
I know of single rate analogue electric meters ( sangamo western models) which occasionly stop and dont register the digits, giving the lucky occupier free electric,a good solid thump on the side of the meter restarts it. I havent noticed any sticking eco 7 meters. Are you sure you are not getting the electric for free on the night rate ? does the day rate move round instead when the night is on its allotted time period ?0
