Very impressed with Cahoot - got cards this week - much quicker than Capital One. Good interest on Card (12%).

I was accepted and got my Capital One card earlier this week - took almost three weeks to arrive. Really don't think much to their customer service, which transfers to some godforsaken part of the world somewhere where no one speaks very much English!

Rate is crap at 29ish% APR which won't matter as I will be paying back in full each month.

No deposit required and a reasonable credit limit.

Thanks for peoples' advise, which all helped me obtain 2 credit cards.

They say it is guaranteed as long as you are not currently bankrupt or listed on fraud databases. Remember their risk is small. If they don't like the look of you they will give you a £200 credit limit and ask for an upfront £200 deposit!

I know someone who has a £200 limit on one of their cards and I'm sure nobody else would have given them a card at all as their previous record is abysmal!
