I think the link in the article should have an asterisk.
I'm guessing that MSE isn't gaining anything from the link (so it doesn't really fit the asterisk) but the guy who wrote it clearly is.0 -
Guest comment? This is just an advert.0

While I agree that this is more of an advert than an article I will say that after several disasters with on line florists I now always call a florist in the town nearest to where the recipient lives.
An example of an on line 'purchase' - I specifically asked for a delivery to be made after 3pm when the recipient would be there (she was moving house) and repeated the request twice by email. The company delivered a little before 11am, sent a text to inform me, and said the flowers were left in a secure place by the front door. The front door leads onto the pavement, there's no garden or frontage at all to the property. Needless to say, the obvious happened and the company refused to accept responsibility until I mentioned on line reviews, when they refunded my money.
Small private florists are much more reasonably priced and almost always keen to please, so that's my choice today.0 -
Can't believe "MSE" are promoting Paul burials flower shop ive noticed he's been quiet for a few months since he milked the "diana called me her rock" dried up ........ Someone once said there is not one piece of evidence the Diana called him her rock in other words he made it up ......... He's not well liked with Charles and the boysCan't sleep, quit counting sheep and talk directly to the shepherd :cool:0

Maybe some good advice in there somewhere?
I have used https://www.bunches.co.uk and https://www.flyingflowers.co.uk probably 3 or 4 times each year for the last 15 or more years.
Never had a complaint and the blooms last about 3 weeks before they have to be put out.
Infact, I sent Bunches flowers to my mum on Mothering Sunday and my brother got a much bigger bunch from somewhere on the high street and mines lasted an extra week longer.
I would not buy flowers anywhere else but the internet as they are posted direct from the growers.0 -

How ironic you've linked to a "newspaper" that lied to it's readers over Hillsborough.0 -
How on Earth do the deliveries happen? The recipients are in the bath or doing their nails half the time.0

Paul Burrell- what an absolute c**t.0

Puke, puke, puke, puke. I can't believe MSE have stooped so low as to let someone basically have a big advert for their shop for free. And he had to mention Princess Diana!
To comment on the actual content - IME, flowers by post are fine. Even better though is to send an entire plant. If you use a specialist seller then the plants will be well packed and arrive fine. And obviously, you, being a savvy shopper, will know what you are buying, no?They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0
