I hope you can help,I am a bit lost.I ordered a camera from Ebuyer on 8th May.Goods allocated on the 9th.Payment taken aswell. It was on a free 5 day delivery so I was in no rush.Order stayed as pick in progress for 3 days,si I rang them on tuesday 15ty May in the afternoon. Was told that the pick was being done at that very moment.Rang back in the enening to be told it was picked and was awaiting despatch.Rang this morning and was told that the previous things I had been told were wrong and no order was sent or even picked.Lady on phone checked stock and told me she would get order sent on next day delivery and I would have it tomorrow.Irang back at 4.30 to confirm I was going to get my camera and was told no ,and that there was no stock left,so I would never get it. When I ordered this camera there were about 200 in stock.I orderd because of the Canon cashback promo so have lost out on the discount, and have also bought some camera specific items since ordering.Do I have any rights here or is this just a case of tough luck, and never buy accessories for a thing that ebuyer tell you ,you are going to get but you just might not.Are they not obliged to supply if they take your money.Oh they cancelled my order and refunded my card While I was on the phone to them and didn't tell me .Moan over advice please.

If they have taken money for the camera but not supplied they are in breach of contract.
You have the right to purchase the camera elsewhere and take them to court for loss of bargain, that is for any reasonable difference that you have to pay for the same item. Unless there is a massive difference in the price then probably not worth it.0 -
The difference would be from the ebuyer original price at point of purchase (which was £187.99) would be 70 pounds(ten quid for google checkout and 60 quid for a date dependent cashback offer. They were the cheapest at the time to buy from.Jessops for example wanted 250 quid.Canon RRP is 279 I believe. Is it still worth my while? To make this clear I would have ended up paying £118 for the camera as opposed to 250 from Jessops.0
