roof more than 33% ? (home insurance) what does this question mean ?

On home insurance quotes they ask
"is the roof more than 33% flat" -

That means the angle right? and how do you know that?

(our house has a roof angle which is very common, and i see it everywhere) - but don't know what angle that is...

so what angles are common, for detached houses? (it is an old 1950 built one)

It means, if any part of the house has a flat roof (such as an extension) is that flat roof more than 33% of the whole of the roof.

    ^^^ this is right.

Statistically, flat rooves / roofs (?) are much more likely to let rainwater in than a pitched (angled) roof, so are more likely to result in a claim for water damage, which is why they ask whether a significant proportion of your roof is flat.

They mean "horizontal" - (nearly all roofs are 100% flat)!
