credit limit

Just got accepted for a capital one credit card,wasn't the one I wantesd but barclays and the like won't accept me,anyway,I want to transfer from my santander card but the new cards limit doesn't cover the balance,anything I can do about that,ideas pleeease

    Well you're stuck with the limit you've got from Capital One for a while. You can't ask them for increases - they just tell you if and when they decide to give you one. This often happens at around six months after you get the card so be prepared to wait for at least six months.

    I beg to disagree. If you can transfer any expensive debt to a cheaper alternative you should go for it. Assuming any fee involved does not exceed the potential saving in interest, of course.
