Kindle fire HD wifi dongle or SIM card?

Hi

Hope you can help?

Going away soon and want to take my Kindle with me, how do I get around having to pay the high price of the on site wifi?

Can I plug a dongle in or put a sim in already loaded with Internet time? Sorry new to all this.

Know I will be able to use it at free wifi hotspots while we are out and about but was thinking about when we are in the hotel etc.

Thanks in advance

You can't plug in a dongle nor is there anywhere to put a SIM in the Fire HD. Something like the 3 Mifi http://store.three.co.uk/Mobile_Broadband/MiFi or a phone that can share its internet connection (tethering) might be an option.

*Some* provide free wifi, nowhere near 'most'. A lot of the ones that give free wifi are also only in foyer areas or bars, not rooms.

If you're staying in this country and you have a smartphone, you should be able to use it as a wireless hotspot to connect your device to.

    Personal Hotspot

If you can't find it, look here

Within the UK or abroad? What kind of data allowance do you have in the UK?
