    Well come what may the application went back yesterday. Wanted to make sure it reached them before the stamped date - May 1.

    Took a photocopy of everything I forwarded and just to be sure they got ALL the information they wanted if I thought the box wasn't going to be big enough for us to answer the question fully I just said see additional notes. Ended up with six typed pages, that should keep them reading for a while :D

    Assuming you're successful in your application when does payment of the benefit start: from the date you applied for DLA (ours was date stamped and she was in hospital at the time we applied), or from the date you leave hospital?
