how to make my item show on ebay.com?

hi im selling an item that offers worldwide shipping but when i search for the item on ebay.com it does not show unless i click 'worldwide' on the left hand side of the screen under the 'item location' category. does anyone know a way of making the listing show under the 'on eBay.com' category????

When you list, there is an option to add worldwide visibility to the item, costs 30p. You have to check that box.0

You can also list on ebay.com if it is something that is likely to sell better in the US, they have different listing structure. It's possibly free to list..0

At one point you could only list on ebay.com if you had a US postal address. Not sure if this is still the case or not.
That must have been years ago as I have listed on .com now for many years.

Probably was, it was ages a go I last looked in to it.
Something I really should look in to, as well as listing on all the other Amazon sites.
It is worth looking at as another line of sale for certain items.
