Really Spooky

Perhaps someone can help with what I refuse to accept is a coincidence.
I currently have 6 non paying bidders from 6th April.
All are from different parts of the country from Cornwall to Scotland.
All joined E-Bay on the 17th January this year
All have a feedback of between 1 and 3
All have left me positive feedback saying what a good seller I am, even though they have not paid, and I have not sent the items.
All have names that indicate an ethnic origin, but from differing countries.
All have feedback from other sellers saying what fast payers they are.
All have made other purchases of a similar nature to each other, but wildly different from what they have bought from me.

I am about to open cases on each, and fully expect to close them in four days time without any response from the buyers.

Is all this a coincidence, or have I found myself in the Twighlight Zone.

The only question is whether Ebay will have the wit to cancel their accounts.

I've been following a scammer who somehow gets lots of bids despite having 0 feedback and stock photos which don't match up with the title or description.

He comes back every 2 months or so with new ebay accounts and always gets -1 or -2 feedback after the buyers get refunded. Reporting his auctions doesn't make anything happen. I opened a fake ebay account to snipe his auctions once, but ebay sided with the scammer!

Lately he has learned to list with special delivery instead of saying it in the description and then putting 1st class standard... and steals other people's photos though they still don't match up with what he is pretending to sell. He has also learned to buy a 99p item from an auto-feedback seller first to get +1 feedback..

I don't know if he's just stupid / lazy, or if paypal is the one getting scammed. Presumably he wouldn't keep on doing this if he can't get the money out. The buyers just have a £150 temporary charge to their credit card which gets reversed after a month.

Have you annoyed anyone, that is a similar pattern to a stalker I picked up (probably from here) a good few years ago. Mind you mine left me negatives, not positives- so yours does look odd.

Just checked, and none have left any DSR stars, just positive feedback.
As I said, they are from all over the country, and their names seem to indicate they,or their ancestors, are from France,Spain,Asia,Hong Kong and Poland.

All purchases were for my 99p start, which I am now finding are the ones with almost all my non-paying buyers. Am thinking of starting all my listings at £1.99 and above. (I list between 400 and 600 a month)

Very odd, but someone is deliberately messing with you.

Set your seller preferences to exclude any buyers with 5 feedback or less and no credit card on file, this should weed them out if they try it again.
