Is Paypal treated as cash?

I have just been browsing on the stoozing board above and came across a suggestion that transactions using Paypal may be treated as a cash advance rather than a purchase.
Can anyone confirm if this is the case?
I have just put my Egg Money card onto my Paypal account to try and get the cashback on e-bay purchases. If I am going to get charged interest I will rethink this sharpish!

I bought something from eBay using PayPal and my Egg Money card on 18th March, and the transaction was treated as a normal purchase. I haven't received anything from them to indicate that they have changed their policy since then.

Only direct money transfer or refund from a credit card through paypal will be treated as cash advance and all buying transactions are treated as normal transactions.<<If you liked what I said then feel free to click on the thanks button>>0
