New Barclays Account

Hello,
After much dissatisfaction with Natwest, husband and I have made the switch to Barclays. One reason for doing so is that Barclays are maintaining a local branch and Natwest are closing theirs.
So, we have set up personal accounts (one each), not opening a joint account as yet but will maintain our Natwest account for bills initially, just to see how we go with Barclays really, my income will go into Barclays, Mr has a business account with Natwest and he is a little worried (probably incorrectly) that should we close our joint acc, Natwest will close the business account, anyway, I have waffled.
He went in a day before me, got his account opened, no OD, on his paperwork from the bank it says product 'Connect (Electronic)'.
I went in, I was offered a £500 OD, I took £100 plus £50 personal reserve, on my paperwork it says product 'Connect'
What is the difference between Connect (Electronic) and 'Connect' has he been put on a packaged account? We were paying for Advantage Gold (yes I know, now downgraded to Select) he says it was mentioned but he's sure he didn't agree to a package?
Any ideas? Will pop into branch tomorrow but thought I'd ask here first, as I've just realised whilst filing the paperwork!
Many thanks in advance.

Connect Electronic is Barclays version of an online only debit card. By this it means it can only be used at places that can dial home to confirm that the funds are available to be debited from the account. It also means that 9 times out of 10 it cant be used on trains and planes.
Connect is the offline version meaning it does all the above and can be used where there are offline terminals such as planes and trains and Pay@pump petrol stations.Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both. :cool:0 -
Your partners card will start 4658 and wont be contactless, you card will start 4659 and will be contactless.0

I feel silly now, I assumed he had opened a packaged account. I didn't realise Connect was the card. I thought it related to the pack where you get gadget cover! Oooopps!0
