What do you mean by "re-connected"?
It is rare for utilities to be disconnected these days. Pre-pay meters are usually installed.
Are the meters not there?Well life is harsh, hug me don't reject me.0 -
Way to hang on one word from my previous post :T
Easier and quicker to ring the companies up and ask them, unless you disagree with that. Chances of getting an answer from someone in the same area, with the exact same problems, with the same companies is probably going to be hard. Anything other than that is speculation, because from experience utilities companies like quoting random prices whenever they feel like it.
A quick google of 'phoenix gas reconnection charges' allowed me to pull up a PDF of their policy. Took 10 seconds.
I'd say the quickest way, judging by what you've said is by google.
My understanding is that NI utilities are/were government regulated, so chances of NI forum users who have bought repos have had dealing with these companies (or a much better chance than Mainland UK repo purchasers as there are many more utility companies).0
