Scottish Power - Fixed Saver June 2013 ends soon

So I received an email from SP today saying my tariff is coming to an end and it said:

Unless you choose another option, we'll automatically move you to our standard prices1 and discounts on 1st June 2013. But just so you know, these prices are higher than those you're currently paying.

But they have kindly offered me their Fixed April 2015 offer. However, this just happend to be the same price as their standard tariff but with a cancellation charge.

Im wondering whether to fix again or go variable in case good fixed deals come up before winter.
