Is there any way to find out old credit card details?

Hi, wondering if anyone can help me. I had a credit card with Lloyds between 03 and 05 which I would like to find out if I had PPI on as if so I was definitely mis-sold it (I was self employed at the time so would never have knowingly taken out PPI). I contacted Lloyds to find out credit card details and they said they couldn't find it. My online bank account statements go back to about 2003 and I can see payments on them to the credit card but it doesn't give the actually credit card number, it just says 'LTSB CLASSIC MC'. I sent a copy of the statement with this highlighted but they said they can't find the credit card details anywhere on their system. I don't have any statements for the card. Is there any way at all I can get these details or have I completely reached a dead end?

It sounds as if your credit card details have been destroyed in line with FSA six-year guidelines.
You can send the Bank a Subject Access Request (SAR) letter if you doubt the Bank's response, but it's likely to be £10 wasted.
Most PPI did cover the self-employed, by the way...0 -
Thanks, didn't realise they destroy data after six years. I may send a Subject Access Request or I may just give it up as a bad job, seeing as they've already said they don't have them and I'll probably end up wasting £10.0
