  • Hey all,

Just thought I'd pop back to the challenge to say hey! Excellent to see so many people passing (and in some cases obliterating!) their targets!

Some of you may remember I stood down from creating the newsletters to concentrate on my flying training. I'm happy to announce that I passed my first major test this morning, and am now the proud owner of a Commercial Pilot's Licence. I have a few months more training to complete before I'm ready to apply to the airlines, but this is a major step towards that goal.

Anyways, just thought some of you might like to know :p

All the best to those who are taking part in the Olympic Challenge Take Two!

I only use cash for nights out on the town and very small purchases, all other purchases I have been using my credit card for and I am due £15 back in vouchers (as there are only 2 days left, not sure if they will arrive in time :()

Also recieved my consumerpulse voucher which my dad has used and given me the cash for so another £10 to add

off to update my signature! :)

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Great news WOA - glad to hear you're ok

Quick update from me, since Tuesday I've added:

    £2 for psychology experiment
    £9.75 arrived from envirofone
    £2.66 from last ebay thing

then as I'm going away for a long weekend opened up my piggy bank, £22.62 :j:j about £6 of this is money I've found on the floor (all those see a penny pick it up.... days) in a shopping trolley and in the vending machines on campus where I work the rest was around our house - OH has a habit of seeing a 'pretty' 50p/£1/£2 and saving it so earlier in the challenge I put them all in the piggy as they'd only end up down the back of computers etc otherwise.

Also released I never added the matching on Lloyds save the change back in march/april = £23.65 to add

So current total is: £1002.84 :T

I crossed the £1000 mark - but me being me I can't rest until the end of Saturday so I've got tomorrow and Saturday to find another £4.16 I will do it (Amazon fairy please visit!)

I'll do a final update on Monday night/Tuesday and I'm looking forward to the next challenge already. :money:

Just popping on to say well done to everyone! I kind of slipped away early on when I found matched betting. Seemed to concentrate on that and not much else for a while.

I'm thinking about joining the second one but I'm not sure I'll be able to stick it out. I tend to get distracted from things like this very easily! I do need something to get me going again though ...
