I think it was decided on the original thread we'd run another one from July 20 something to December 20 something for the Holidays or for lowering debt so more people can join inNo longer using this account for new posts from 20130

Another challenge like this is a great idea. Because of this challenge I've kept a record of where my money's come from and put it in a special account (I don't have debts to pay off (apart from mortgage and student loan) but I'm saving the money as my emergency fund as I don't earn a great deal and so can't save much of my salary for emergencies). Last year the amazon money I got used to go into my current account every fortnight and just got spent.
I like the idea of a 5 month run up to Christmas too, although I'll keep going between the challenges if we decide to start the next one on 20th December as otherwise I'll stop and won't start up again!
Sold a book today on Amazon :j - will get a few pounds after postage - it's pretty heavy, and an ebay listing which is ending shortly is doing well :T
Trying to get some stuff together to put on small ads at work atm. Looking for that final push - will update total in sig in a minute - £836.89 atm :jInitial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000

I'm waiting until the 5th July to open my piggy bank which just has coins I've found in the streets/left in vending machines etc. and also some my OH thought had unusual patterns (50ps and £1) no use keeping them on a shelf so they went in the piggy
I'm going away for a long weekend when the challenge finishes - great timing but my parents have some more stuff for me to sell and I'll collect some of my old childhood toys - oh and I haven't seen them for 3 months so I'm looking forward to my trip down south.
Anyway I think you should keep the piggy bank closed until the end of the challenge and try extra hard to find coins to put in it for the next 3 weeks :money:Initial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000
