Doctor Who - Battles In Time

themmackas - we seem to have come to a shuddering halt with 18 to go.

We have bought some more Annialator cards which has boosted the collection a little but they are now nearly always all doublers in each pack and it is very expensive to try to complete it this way. We are having no luck getting the Super Rare or Ultra Rare card.

I have looked at the sites suggested above but have not really had much success. I think our only hope is to find someone who is not continuing with their collection and wants to give away or even sell the hard to find cards.

most companies when they do these kind of offers hold back cards and only produce them at the end of the offer making it impossible to complete a set until then. They do this to make people buy extra packs to make up their collection and hence make loads more profit. I bet if we make a note of the cards everyone needs there will be lots that no one has.
I would just keep swapping and bide my time and see what happens

Also if you are within reach of a Doctor Who shop like Tenth Planet in Barking - there are plenty of people swapping and selling on signing days. Some of the prices will make your eyes bleed though!

I would like to thank everyone aswell for there cards swops. I wondered if you could contact the manufacturer directly, a bit like you can if you are near the end of your stickers in a sticker book. Might try google see if that comes up with anything. I will let you know.

Thanks again to the helpful MSE'ers who have swapped/sent cards.

Here are the details of the ones we are missing - just in case anyone else has some knocking about that they don't need In getting to this point we now have hundreds of extra cards - enough that my daughter is thinking of starting her own collection as we have more than half the set for her already !!!

It is my sons birthday in two weeks time and I would love to get him another couple of cards ......... Is there anyone out there ??

Havent got any doubles of those myself but try swapstick You can join up and request swaps from people. Its the site I use for my son. If anyones interested in swapping with me my doubles & needs are listed here

If you feel the card packet, you can tell with your fingernail whether the pack contains a super rare or an ultra rare card.

Simply run your fingernail down the back of the pack, and you can feel the ridges of the ultra rare and super rare cards through the foil. The regular rare cards dont have the ridges
