Doctor Who - Battles In Time

Now I know this is not Multi-Coloured Swap Shop but .....

My son has been collecting the Doctor Who Battles n Time cards for months and it has become very expensive trying to complete the collection as every pack he buys now ends up being 'doublers'.

Does anyone have any 'doublers' that they could spare? Is there anyone else in the same boat??

Any suggestions on how to complete the set (other than going to ebay which mainly due to postal costs make buying individual cards too expensive for him) would be greatly appreciated.

What a good idea :j I have pm'd you so you can email me with your swops, I will get back to you tomorrow after i have made my list tonight. They have been costing me a fortune, I think it was just me that wanted him to have all the set, Ive even bought him those card holders and a folder to put them all in, and Ive been sorting them all out in numerical order. (am i sad :rolleyes: )

I thought it was just me that was sad enough to buy the card holders - but what fun I have had 'helping' him to get them all in order - I always say that it is good to have a collecting hobby and if we can save each other some money then all to the good.


Maybe there should be a section on the forum for collections or even just for chat about 'The best way to store your card collection'

Blast!!!! just given away all my sons doubles, triples etc.I have used the site boystoyzandcards.com they are quite good and pretty reasonible.

I don't know if this is helpful, but the American trading card magazine Non-Sport Update has a message board called 'Card Talk' (with loads of UK members) which has a space for trading - and I know that there are lots of people on there who are collecting both the different Battles in Time sets!

I'll declare an interest - I'm a moderator on that message board (with the same id as here - Quaint1), but it is free and there are often details of other card related offers and freebies!
