Yes, interesting, I've received items franked with company logo co-operative bank.Warning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise. Your statutory rights are not affected.0

I received an item franked by an eye clinic.
The sender had spelt my name wrong, so I certainly wouldn'd use that clinic if I wanted my eyes testing!0 -
I have to admit, I have posted a couple of things using the company's franking machine, but the boss authorised it (most of them were letters at 30-odd pence)."Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, But beautiful old people are works of art."

I send my stuff through work but we still have to pay for it. I do worry that people will see its been franked (I try and get them to remove the company logo) and think I've done this.[STRIKE]£2200[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£1950[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£1850[/STRIKE] £1600 on my credit card

I guess in the old days they were called "perks of the job". Technically you're avoiding tax if you are regularly using a franking machine with permission, and without is theft.Warning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise. I once had an item franked from a High street 'name', the seller had been appallingly rude and sent the wrong item and caused me a lot of grief and (frankly) out of spite I phoned up HR and asked whether he was paying to use their franking machine. The girl on the phone went very quiet, asked for the ebay details and senders name and said 'it would be dealt with'.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
