I know thats the only way I knew about it
but I guess others at the end of their tether must have phoned there too. Almost at the point where I don't care!
I finally got a reply today to my query going back over a month ago, as to why I hadn't been paid for a job and it was "rejected/cancelled". The client had removed the job after I'd completed it!
I've to email a copy of the receipt and will get paid for it - I should think so too! But probably with the August payment now, cos I bet they don't do any interim payment runs!0 -
I'm meant to do doing a travel agent assignment for GAP today but cant access the paperwork
It just says "Your assignment paper is not yet available. Please check again after Sunday, July 29, 2007. "
Anyone else in the same boat? We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Yep the travel agent is one I've got a problem with.0 -
Obviously it's a common problem for today then - ah well.
Why don't you try giving them a ring? Oh yeah - they don't actually talk to shoppers!!0 -

Oh yes they do talk to shoppers ............ but only at THEIR convenience when they ring you at ludicrously short notice begging you to visit Col Sanders and eat yet more fried chicken for them!!!! :rotfl:We’ve had to remove your signature. I've got 8 assignments in the next week and I've been able to print out the paperwork for all of them apart from the 3 travel agent ones
There's obviously a problem but I've sort of planned my week around these assignments so will be mightily annoyed if I can't do them! We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

If GAP call me asking for more information (usually information on a shop I did 20 days beforehand, on exactly how much the employee smiled) I email back telling them to ring me.
The issue with GAP is they never give you the option to type any further information - just tick boxes. If someone didn't smile, you tick that option. If GAP want further detail on that, they should have asked in the questionnaire.
The thing I refuse to lose sight of is that I'm being paid a pretty cr@ppy amount to do the shop in the first place and spending another half an hour on telling them further info is IMO not included in the fee. I was tempted to ask for further fees to elaborate when they contacted me earlier in the week - I had given them all the information they'd asked for in the report and had filled in the "any other comments" box at the end and they still wanted more!
Thing is with MSing that it's such a competitive business for the shoppers that the companies do not need to negotiate with you - you either do what they tell you or get taken off their books!0
