It depends how many jobs you do! Sorry for the helpless answer but you can get up to 10 jobs a week some weeks and none other weeks - we've got 8 booked on Monday

Time isn't really much of an issue to me - if it's a meal out then it will take a few hours to complete for a fiver but you've had a free meal. Inputting the report takes time - probably about 30 mins for a retail eyes one and 15-20 for GAP or grassroots. I think if you look at it as using up spare time than eating into your free evenings then it's much better for the mind!

Doing too many purchase required shops tie up your money - it's best to use a separate credit card for mystery shopping - that way when you've been paid you know what to pay off the credit card.

This is the first time i have posted on one of these forums and i have a few questions i'm hoping someone could help me with please. I'm currently trying to save for a deposit for a house with my girlfriend and would find any extra income useful, particularly as this might prevent me from spending money by keeping me occupied!

Firstly, how much do you get paid for doing a mystery shop? Can it vary and if so what is a kind of ball park figure?

Secondly, how do you sign up to do them?

Does anyone know when Bare pay for their mystery shops? I did mine on 13/5 and nothing as yet.

bare usually pay around the 20th to the 25th each month so mays will be paid at the end of june etc. But there office has been closed for a week and does not reopen until the 20th so this may delay payment for a couple of days.

Hi to anyone that might be intreasted,

I have been mystery shopping for 7 years now, I started off doing 1 a month, and slowly over the years I have built my companies (and I am still looking for new ones) and my reputation. and now I am finally in a position that the companies phone me now that's where you can make the good money for doing emergency assignments.

On average I take home around £600 per month (roughly 2 days work a week) but it hasn't been easy, its one of those things that its either for you or not. But it is certainly not a way to make easy money, but it can be fun.

I used to do visits here for 2 ms companies. Got to the stage where I knew the names of staff members without needing to look at their badges! :rotfl:

Sometimes companies will ask for shoppers to shop competitors, so they can see what they are up against! Othertimes a manufacturer wants shoppers to go in and see how their brand is being sold.

That's sometimes how you get the same shops but by different companies.
