Maximising income - Mystery Shopping? Surveys? (Part Two)

I've not had any problems with BARE. Do you have a rating / comment for that shop yet on your shop log page? Thats how I presumed all was well and the money then appeared.
Other people have had problems if their full bank details including IBAN and Swift number are not there. Check your profile and then click on extended profile to make sure these are filled in.0 -

Hi Sarah, I just got my first acceptance today after about 6 months. I think persistance is the key  .MSE GBBO 2015 - Go Alvin!0 -
My theory is that they over-rely on scores from existing shoppers, so it's difficult to get started. Try applying for some of the less popular jobs, and build up a reputation.Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0

I just got accepted by three different companies and did my first two assignments this morning. It's fun. Think it's probably best if you live in a city/large town as there'll be more assignments closer to home. I don't intend to travel far as this will eat into the meagre money they pay.0

Yes, I agree, don't forget to look ahead for any trips out of town you might be making anyway. Also helps on the tax front re. mileage!;)0 -
FAO ABA shoppers:
Do you have to register separately for every different client of ABA's? The questionnaire's painful and the questions don't change so there seems little point in me filling it out for each client!
I've been registered with ABA for a few months now, but it always says '0' jobs available, even when I search all areas. I've never been asked to complete any questionnaires and never heard from them since first receiving my log in details etc., telling me I had been successful.
Am I missing something?0 -
I almost signed up to TNS, but began to get cold feet when I saw their privacy policy. One part read:
“You consent to us sharing your personal data contained in the survey or questionnaire with other companies within the TNS group and selected business partners/clients for the purpose of informing you about our and our business partners’ products and services.”
Maybe I’m being paranoid, but I don’t want them sending me marketing spam, I have enough of that rubbish already. And the more hands into which they put my personal details, the more chance of them being spread further and further.
Also, I’ve heard that some companies collect personal information to compile databases which they eventually sell on for marketing purposes. And TNS is a specialist marketing firm. If they don’t know all the tricks, who does?
Then I find that TNS want my national insurance number! What for? If I’m expected to sort out my own tax, why would they need it? You National insurance number is very sensitive information to give away.
I’m fairly careful about this sort of thing, but still I recently became a victim of identity fraud, and my current account was raided. Thankfully HSBC refunded the money after about a month and with minimum fuss. I’m hoping the fraud goes no further than it has.
Anyway, it’s made me think more carefully about these things. My advice is think before giving out your national insurance number, especially with other personal details.

I think TNS employ you and therefore need your NI number to get you on their payroll...0

Yes, they do employ you, and no, they don't send you any junk mail. The only mailing I get off them is my payslip with all the tax and what not deducted. Plus they also give you holiday pay per mystery shop. Is that good or what?
Retail-Maxim is good. I have had 2 assignments off them in 3 days. Hurrah!0 -
Can someone please tell me when Bare are paying us?....last month it was the 20th....but my log still says payment pending...these are for shops I done early last month.
thanksDistant fields will always look greener.
