Do gap update jobs at 12.30ish? Is there best times for RE? or is it just all day?I'm getting older, and lifes getting harder!:mad:0

sorry haven't read through the whole thread so I maybe repeating what has already been mentioned.
I'm a mature student with a 2 year old daughter so at the moment I clain child tax credit and housing benefits, plus I'm exempt from council tax.
If I was to start mystery shopping how would it effect my benefits?
Would I need to declare each job I do? Or do I just tell the benefit agencies how much I've earnt at the end of the tax year?
Is it worth doing if I'm in receipt of CTC and HB?
Any advice appreciated.

What I did when I was on benefits (which was 2 years ago, for a whole month - I was lucky) was I told them I was a mystery shopper, and I told them that my estimated earnings were £5 each week. They were not at all interested in the other things I got from MS, such as free meals. So if you chose your jobs carefully you could get quite a lot of good things from MS without affecting your benefits
Be careful though, because I don't know if you can deduct the costs of MS from your earnings when declaring your earnings for state benefits, so you could end up getting deductions for more than you earn, IYSWIM

Also do new jobs ever come up on weekends? Or do the MS companies just do Mon - fri?
Sorry for all the Q's I have tried to read though the pages, but to be fair I would guess stuff changes (eg I saw earlier mention of using vouchers, but Gap rules say NO VOUCHERS!)
Many thanxI'm getting older, and lifes getting harder!:mad:0 -

If I knew I would not tell anyone because I want first dibs! This is my only way of earning so I am not going to hand over my wages to someone else! Something you will have to work out.
It's annoying when in the past someone has posted in here 'there are loads of X jobs on Y site' not for long there weren'tMember no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:

Clients want MS to check out their outlets at all sorts of different times of the week, times of day, and shopping scenarios.
Therefore there is plenty of work at weekends and at evenings, and if you are a regular shopper for one particular chain, you will often find the same shop comes up at different times and days. (Normally in different months). Especially in the case of dine-ins, some shops will want single shoppers, some will want couples and some families.Ex board guide. Thank you. I'm not very good at explaining myself, I meant is it worth checking all the MS sites over the weekend, do they post new jobs then or do they only do Mon- Fri!
Thank you for being helpful, I've noticed they keep wanting me to do the same fast food outlet, it seems to get less yummy every time!I'm getting older, and lifes getting harder!:mad:0 -
It gets worse too - you find yourself saying "They'd have to pay me to go back there", and then realising they actually do!0

Check them all all the time or have yourself an allocated time of day or week when you check.Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:
