Flight double charge - no refund :(

Hi. I had to book a flight to Zurich, found a good deal and booked it, as my payment screen went to the final page, the page froze and I was redirected back to the payment details. I checked my emails, nothing there, so I waited, still nothing, so I assumed that the program had not worked, input my details again and pressed send, this time I got an email confirmation and the page stated a booking had been made. Looking at my bank coount today I see I have been charged twice! I phoned the agents (India) and was told, several times, that the policy is no refunds allowed. No matter how I explain this, no matter how many times I am getting the no refund message. What can I do??

Thank you:(:(:(

Contact your card issuer and ask if it's possible to dispute the charge. Not much use to you now but never assume a payment hasn't gone through just because you don't get an email about it, always call the airline and/or your card issuer to verify.

Which airline is it? I'm somewhat surprised they refuse to cancel one of the bookings.

Ah, well there's your problem then. I don't know of any 3rd party booking sites with as many problems or complaints reported as Cheapoair. If you had booked direct from Swiss I think it's likely they would have simply cancelled one of your bookings without a fuss, although there's every chance that you wouldn't have had a problem in the first place. Nex time book direct from the airline or at least do some research on the company you are handing your money over to.
