Checked my online a/c with halifax on Monday. No transactions since 04/04/13 which I thought was inaccurate. Phoned helpline, no idea why, nothing pending, thought it was just a strange delay. Checked online banking again today - still nothing. No tax credits, no Asda shopping, no Tesco shopping! Balance on statement doesn't agree with available funds. Can't reconcile it at all. Neither can the lovely help desk guy! Turns out it's a statement 99 error? It's been dealt with but no-one can tell me my balance, transactions or when it will be resolved (few days at best was suggested & it involves sending me a paper interim statement to res....Weird. Anyone heard of such a thing?

With a statement 99 error the advisor needs to order an up to date statement which will reset the statement numbers and solve the problem.
It usually takes overnight from when the statement is ordered0 -
Thank you - all very confusing. The timing for me has been unfortunate and I've wasted a whole lot of time on the phone to halifax. Oh well....0
