(hugs) Skint_Catt what's happened? Feel free to rant away, that's what this thread is here for. x xBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Oh it's something and nothing I guess, everyone else would take it in their stride
BUT
my selfish little shister of a half-brother has now decided to get in touch with Dad after 30 YEARS of nowt. No birthday cards to Dad, no Fathers Day, no nothing. I'm so angry at him. Dad is the loveliest person I know and it certainly wasn't down to a family fall out - he and his sister just stopped contacting Dad (apparantly my sister died 4 years ago). I'm 30, I'm still at home to support my Mum as Dad is elderly and has Parkinsons. He gets stressed at the best of times. I'm probably not making much sense, but I'm sitting here FUMING that he's (my h-bro) got the bloody cheek! I just want to scream (and cry) if he's going to luimber his way in and upset MY family unit now. What right?
Sorry0 -
I have no idea what to say to you Skint_Catt, but I send you lots of love, hugs and support.
Just to say, our whole lane is flooded. The river has burst its banks. The cricket field opposite is all under water. it hasn't stopped raining all day. so its a bit.. horrible. I've been to the neighbours down nearer the stream next to us, and its up to their door. They're in the process of moving everything upstairs, but its a hard time. its just not nice at all. why wont it stop raining? stupid weather. xBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

I know what you mean - I went through a period - quite a long time actually! where lots of things went wrong and i thought I couldn't cope with anything else... and then a few more things bad came my way ! i also started to check things... and then found more things to worry about! I don't know if I was being negative and then attracting more negative stuff?
I'm trying to be more positive now and it's working... Also I saw something on tv the other day and a man said that the only way to be truly happy is to live in the moment... don't worry about yesterday... or tomorrow... I think there's something to that - I have been trying to do it ... so far it's working! :j
Hope things work out well.
