Daughter is being a cow to be honest.. she went out last night n got drunk, created havoc with her brother and my mum. She went to the unit as a day patient today, they rang at lunch time and sent her home for disruptive behaviour as they are now saying that she's not got mental health issues anymore, just behavioural stuff and doesn't belong there.

    It's just a bloody mess.

I'm glad your mum wasn't angry.. it was probably a huge shock to her - it was to me when i found ou about my daughter.. hopefully she'll be able to help you get thru it. xx

(HUGS) I'm sorry to hear that. Do you know what's going to happen now? You must be so patient. x x

    Hey people,

Cleaned the fish out and had a walk around the shops. Kinda made me feel down as it reminded me of being with the gf. Ended up in waterstones looking at all the books. Ended up looking at the depression/anxiety books, what a waste of time. They all look really boring, wish they had a book that was one page long describing the cure for depression/anxiety, the world would be a happier place. Just the thought of reading over 200 pages about depression/anxiety was enough to get me down.

I think the best way for me to get over this is to exercise and take the medication. Getting the motivation to do anything is gonna be the hardest part tho.

Lol, I cope same way you do.. just get on with it innit?
Seriously tho, I come on here, have a whine and a rant and then just deal wiv it as Tracey would say

Son's appeal is next Tuesday.. I'm really nervous about it, especially if I have to speak at all.. luckily we've got a social worker coming with us who is really good so....... hopefully she'll step in if need be :)

I went to the post office and it was closed :( So I bought some Refreshers chew bars from the corner shop to console myself. Don't try the "sizzling hot orange one"; it's really hot and weird and horrible.

No idea really what's gonna happen next.. she's not self harming so the hospital say she doesn't belong there anymore, but there is no way she can manage herself in the community either and we can't cope with her all the time so... I guess more meetings and hopefully some kind of arrangement we can all live with.

The motivation is the worst bit, you're not wrong there. I find tho that once I get going it's not so bad and the fact that I achieved something is a huge bonus at the end of it.

Lists are good, even if all you write down is to move the dirty cups from the coffee table to the sink n stuff like that, being able to tick them off is a fab feeling. There is a site called living life to the full which lots of people recommend as it takes you thru a lot of CBT exercises n stuff. How about doing some kind of voluntary work to help pass some time, or even taking up swimming or something too?
