Credit card interest charges

in Credit cards
Hi
I am new to this forum so please bare with me. Finances confuse me a lot and sadly I am in a lot of debt with my credit cards. I have tried for years to shuffle my cards hoping that getting a few months interest free will help reduce them and I have always made the minimum paymets (which I know should be more but all I can manage at the moment) but for some reason, on the card which I had 11,000 of debt which is the one I kept shuffling from. although is going down, my credit card balances of all the cards is now over £14,000 even after payments and I don't understand.
I am convinced that the interest on the main card is why. The question I need answering though is, I have recently noticed that last months statement gave me an estimated interest, I made my usual payment, the amount came down slightly on this months statement, but the estimated interest on this one is higher than last months. Please can anyone advise if this shouldn't be happening as I have noticed this a few times over the last couple of years but presumed this is what happens.
Sorry for the long winded message. Hope someone can help. Can I claim unfair interest charges.
Thank you:(

Aa interest is charged daily, it is normally because of longer/shorter months.0

Also, if you have been continually switching to other new 0% cards you would have had numerous BT charges on top of the debt too i would imagine?DEBT FREE AND PROUD'Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt'0
