Hello folks,
Considering Carbon Credit investments. The market is unregulated and would appreciate any constructive advice regarding potential hazards and people worth avoiding. In particular:
-How you check that your share ownership is legitimate and what proof you should receive of ownership
-How to check that the broker/investment manager your dealing with is reputable
-How to independently verify what your stock price is.
Many thanks

The biggest question for any investment is who makes the market, and how many market makers are actively involved in that investment area. If there is only one market maker then when you come to sell they can 'offer' you whatever they want, which is unlikely to be anywhere near the supposed value of the investment.
My advice....... if your last two questions shows how unsure you are of validating your investment, steer well clear. If you don't understand it, don't invest in it.Personal Responsibility - Sad but True

It is always different this time. The only thing that is the same is the outcome.
