Was on a flight from Dubai to London the other day, and honestly the bloke sitting next to me had this dreadful body odour problem. I put up with it to begin with, but it got to the point where I was feeling nauseous from the smell so had a discreet word with the flight attendant.

Anyway, fair play to her, she moved him into business class so he didn't have to sit next to anyone. He thought he'd got an upgrade, poor sod. Hope he got a shower when he got back.

Think I might try not showering for a few days before I get on my next flight! A free upgrade seems worth it!

I can spot it OK and it might have worked if the OP had used it in the original thread rather than start what is basically a joke thread.

Considering the thread title was almost identical, and was on the same page (in fact right next to it when I viewed the forum), then the sarcasm/micky-taking was patently obvious.
