Guys, what is your favorite credit card company? Why?

My favourite is BC. The reason I say that is they are very flexible and always lots and lots of ongoing promotional offers on the three cards I have with them.0

I like barclaycard simplicity for the long term low interest rate.
But I also like my creation cashback which is only used for fuel and food and paid in full each month. Nice to get some money back.
Also the Halifax clarity is only used for purchases abroad which saves paying the commission charged for every transaction by barclaycard.
Each card has its good and bad points. But the above 3 all all my favourites.0 -
MBNA for its generous limits, good repeat offers and SBT facility.0

None of them. Why? They are a business, they provide a service, and as a consumer, I pick the one that suits my needs.0

Last year: AA. 0% on purchases and 1% cash back.
This year: Aqua - 3% cash back.
Next year: who knows.0 -

Just wondering if you're American? It's the use of "guys" when referring to both male & female - and also the American spelling of the word "favourite" which makes me think that you might be.inetfree180 wrote: »Guys, what is your favorite credit card company? Why?
This is a British website and people's responses will therefore relate to British credit card products. I doubt very much that companies such as Wells Fargo and ScotiaBank will feature in the comments.
Just wondering why you ask the question - as you've not published your reason(s) ??Mortgage Feb 2001 - £129,000
Mortgage July 2007 - £0
Original Mortgage Termination Date - Nov 2018
Mortgage Interest saved - £63790.60
ISA Profit since Jan 1st 2015 - 98.2% (updated 1 Dec 2020)0 -
American Express is my preferable provider. Love the foursquare offers and rewards. The customer service and emergency replacement service is great. Also love the travel insurance, hotel status and lounge access on my Platinum card.0

Barclaycard, because I am too lazy to change, I do get a bit of cash back and I pay up in full every month anyway.
To their credit they did reimburse me once when I ordered something from a company that went out of business.0
