Need help
Daughter wants a laptop .As I know nothing about computers thought would ask for help:confused:
Here goes Budget £500

Told must have
Wireless internet connection
Card reader
Dual core
DVD writer
Windows vista home edition
Must be quick and have from 80Gb memory.

Would prefer to go to a store rather than buy on line
Remember only people who say money doesn't matter have already got enough :think:

    Acernotebooks online or Tesco sell Acer laptops (you wont need to pay for delivery) we recommend in our shop.
    Just owe Dad £2500 for a new car

    i've just got an acer l/t for my daughter for 500 , it's v good , got it from laptops direct , service excellent

    Wouldn't reccomend acer at all and if its just for uni work ie writing essays etc then she won't need a dual core cpu - would folloew albertross' link for dmx

    yes if it for "uni work" she wont need dual core, you dont need to get a top of the range laptop.
