Switch to SSE or EDF
I was previously on Scottish Power online V17. This expired 30th March
Iv been put the standard tariff so want to switch.
Iv been on comparision site and undecided between a Variable Tariff or a Fixed one.
My Savings are
SSE Discount Energy Bonus Oct 2014 - Save £102.92 Per year + £46.86 Topcashback (Best Variable)
EDF Blue Price Promise- Save £54.93 Per Year + £40 Energyclub Cashback
Cant decide between the two. Am I just better off with EDF because of price hikes?

A fixed tariff is a form of insurance, for which a premium is payable. Only you can decide if that premium of £54.85 is worth it. Personally I'd say yes, you may disagree. No free lunch, and no free laptop
