That's fantastic for being so proactive instead of getting in a fankle (I love that word). Inspiration to people who have similar things happen but wouldn't think companies would refund their payments with such little fuss. Well done you

Thank you! I had to call a few more today!! But EVERY single one of them apologised and refunded my money :T YAY!!! Was not happy with my bank though! Little pompous customer care person who was there 'to help' me (not only are we a bank, we also care for you) was so arrogant and gave me a lecture about my PDLs  Yes I know I was stupid, but I am trying to rectify it, please don't insult my intelligence you little !!!!!!! ahhhh that feel better :rotfl:

Over a month since I started this journey and I can honestly say that it has been the best decision I ever made!
All except one creditor has responded positively. The other one rejected SC's payment. I am keeping positive though.
Nothing much to report other than mr marathon training is going well :TLBM March 2013 DFD August 2016

Just reading back on all my posts and cannot believe how far I have come in this journey. I have been making positive changes and decisions, got a much better paying job and hopefully will be able to clear it all at the end of this year with my extra savings! WOOP WOOP! Thinking back and remembering how I first felt when I started this journey, I honestly never thought I would feel this way, but I am so glad that I made this step and I can honestly say this is an experience I will never want to repeat!
Still running and happy
