Dissasembling Ercol tables

Has anyone taken apart an Ercol table? I looking at buying an Ercol drop leaf dining room table, which has an elm top and beech legs. It's from the 60's or 70's I guess. Getting it in the house is potentially tricky, hence I want to remove the top, to make it easier to get in

Also, does anyone know how heavy these are i.e. are they easy for one person to carry?
