Internet help please

Sorry for the bad title, but couldn't think of a better one.
My son is using a computer which has a very strict 'prohibited sites' rule.
Is there any quick way of identifying these, so he can find the ones he IS able to watch?
The sites he is looking at are Sonic the Hedgehog online comics, but because some of the other comics are 18 rated or violent the whole site is barred.
Many thanks

the www is like the wildwest.
there are very few laws and even less that are enforceable. if you dont want your kids seeing adult material, get them off the net.
theres certainlty things you can do to limit exposure to a certain extent, but youre never going to be able to stop it.
