Tesco credit card security blocks x12!

Hi -
In the last 5 months my credit card has been security blocked 12 times! In the last month it has happened 4 times, twice within an hour each time.
The card is registered in the UK and also in the Czech Republic so they know where we are! We use it a lot and we pay it off in full every month (except a year ago for a couple of months when we needed to actually get a credit rating!!).
I have been told that it is the number of transactions and sometimes the company used. The companies that I use most of the time are Expedia (Expedia puts through multiple little transactions to test the card) and Paypal so I would expect that everyone would have the same problem????
It is an old card so we get a better rate of Tesco points and have had many many flights through generated air miles. I have started to ask for points as compensation each time - which has worked a couple of times but I feel as though I am losing hours of my life talking to the fraud department. I am also pretty sure that it is now on their system that I am a difficult customer as recently the tone of voice of the staff on the help lines has become "defensive" from the outset. (In my defence I have only "lost it" once when they blocked the card as I tried to get tickets to Fleetwood Mac - which sold out before the card was unblocked!)
Has anyone else had similar problems? Do you think that they are just trying to make us move away? Can they keep doing this??

Yes they can.
They are required to have security systems in place.
They will not be doing this to force you away. Plenty of ways of doing that if they want.

Even the fact you have 2 diffrent address will make no diffrence. In fact may make things worse.
Expedia are a well used target for fraudsters. And only process a small auth before full debit on each purchase.

Sounds to me like you are hitting cross border issues. Spening in one country and then making a purchase in another.

I would say your best advice would be to get either a local Czech account. or a 2nd card and use one for Uk and the other for local debits.
