Bubbles in wallpaper... help

Just moved into a new house this weekend and been decorating. My dad did some wallpaper in our bedroom for us and it unfortunately it hasn't settled and has loads of massive bubbles in it all.
To be honest it is a real mess.
I have looked online for some solutions and have been told to insert a tiny pin to make a hole - but this didnt work. I have also been advised to use a syringe to put some paste into the whole and then try and even it out a bit...
To be honest I think it's going to have to come down and get a professional in this time to do it again.
Any advice or tips?

go for the syringe option first . put plenty of paste behind the paper and then allow it to soak for a couple of minutes then see if you can smooth it out , unfortunately it does sound if it needs re doing0

Depending on the patterning and if you are short of money you might get away with mixing some paste, making a cross incision through each bubble with a stanley knife, using a paint brush to work paste into the wall and rear of the paper, using a dry paint brush to smooth the paper back down.
However if the bubbles have a diameter of more than 5cm forget it. It is always going to look rubbish.
If you do have to remove it then try to peel from a corner and get each whole sheet in one. This might leave a lining on the wall taking out imperfections.Life is like a box of chocolates - drop it and the soft centres splash everywhere0 -
Leave it, for a week or so. If he laid on the paste a bit thick it forms bubbles it will dry flat.0

You could try a wallpapers roller ?
Next time, let the paste soak into the paper for 15 minutes before putting it on the walls.0 -

Are they paste bubbles or air bubbles? The solution to each is different although after a week its more likely to be air than paste (unless it was really, really thick). How big is massive? Any chance of a couple of pics?
