Help. Rescanned Dvd recorder. No signal

Hi, i hope someone can help. I had to rescan my tv and dvd recorder as i'd lost the signal on bbc (like thousands of others today).

I rescanned the tv and that's fine now but when i scanned the dvd recorder, it looks to have found all the channels but just keeps coming up with 'no service' on all of them.

First i scanned using the 'add new DVB services' which found some services but still didn't find bbc. I then did the 'auto-setup restart' which warned me that i would lose all tuning data. Now i'm left with the above problem.

Problem solved. I turned it of at the wall and when i turned it back on the channels were working again :T

This is better than my husband's attempts.

The TV channels retuned fine - no problems. However, when using the DVD, we are automatically tuned to Welsh channels. We're in the North West.

He's going to have another attempt tomorrow.
