Quick advice wanted - Kitchens Direct

My mother, a relatively recently widowed lady, arranged for a guy to come round from Kitchens Direct - who sold her a kitchen with built in fridges freezer, dishwasher washing machine, hob, integrated electric oven and extractor hood. She also chose granite worktops and all in all including fitting (excluding tiles and flooring) the price was in the region of 12k. I am obviously just looking out for her and dont want her to get 'done over' by a sales man. She was happy with the price, i believe there is about 7.5m of granite in 3 seperate areas - i believe that all the appliances are made by technik? Please could you offer your thoughts on the quality of goods we should hope to receive - the reason i ask for a quick response is that we have 7 days cooling off and if she is getting ripped of then i would really like to know. Obviously i know we could get the kitchen cheaper if we are prepared to fit it ourselves which we are not - so dont mind paying a little over the norm just for having it all brought in, them sorting out all of the plumbing and electrics and hopefully leaving my mother with a lovely new kitchen!

Thanks in advance for your help.

Here's a snip that sums it up:

"This company seems to operate under a lot of different names. Kitchens Direct, MKD Holdings, Moben, Sharps, Cornbrook and more. It was probably one of their many names but they are all the same company.
From looking at info on the internet, i believe the owner is well known in Manchester and has been in prison already for ripping people off with shoddy kitchens. It's appaling how many people have been have also been ripped off, stories are very similar to mine. If only i had done more research into this company, i would never have gone near them. So anybody thinking of getting a new kitchen, remember that i've lost £10,000. I advise people never to use them".
