    Thanks Everyone

Some good ideas . We have thought today about doing an individual jar for each child , perhaps in a small jam jar with their name on. Has anyone been to a wedding where they have had a sweet buffet ? Do the adults eat them too ?
I have done some for a few friends weddings and yes the adults do eat the sweets :)

Wilkinson do Kilner jars and mini ones for £1. I filled them with jellybeans from Aldi in coloured layers to sell at a Christmas bazaar. kids loved them.

I want to do a sweet table myself but am unsure of the amount of sweets to buy. Any ideas on how many varieties to buy and how much do you allow per person.

I did a sweet buffet for my son's naming ceremony, I used these Ikea jars http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/00030262/ (and to be extra MSE, I'm re-using them for my girl mate's Xmas pressies this year filled with mini toiletries and little cute novelties etc!)

I bought sweets from the pound shop and paper bags and scoops from eBay. It cost about £40 all in all and the adults definitely had a go too!

A tip: just make sure that when you unveil the sweet buffet, you mention that kids need to be supervised by an adult so there's no possible backlash if a kid gets something they're not allowed!

I filled 14 of the jars I mentioned above with different sweets and that did 100 people.
