Really pleased that iTunes have reappeared on shop and scan rewards as I refused attach my debit card to it due to girls. Couldn't justify buying gift cards so this does the job as the girls help scan the shopping!

Nothing else to report as gorgeous day so tackling the house!

On a low today and need to find a buzz to lift me up.

My friend rang yesterday telling me of her 'new' things she has just been out to buy on a whim. This is when sticking to a tight budget really gets me low. The said friend is not a horrible person just her idea of not having money is not the same as mine! I think it must be that time of month for me to feel this way as I even got a little pang when she had gone for a coffee with a colleague and I would've be able to do that.

I'm trying to tell myself that in a few months I'll be able to afford the odd treat but it is so hard.

If it stays fine I'm gonna try and sort out the back yard - wind has blown stuff all over and the looming pile of potential car boot. Least it's free and tidy areas tend to distress me.

Submitted my payslips to paypal over the weekend and it's come back that I owe them money... For excess earnings. So all stressed up again. I could understand if I was earning more but I'm not. I have had more problems in the last eight months with them than I can count. Is it just me?

Been paid today and as up early transferred monies to places that I need to and left enough for dd's.

Been a bit of a whirlwind last couple of days as dd2decided to jump off some railings and landed chin first on concrete. She was very lucky with a small chip on tooth and 3 stitches!

I also started to do a club at school and when I girl saw her grandpa drive up she went off to him. As this is what dd2 does who is two years younger I thought nothing off it. However the mum complained that the grandpa has to come into the yard. Not an issue I thought so. I apologised and explained to head and that I would take this into consideration. This is not good enough for the mum... What else does she want? I do this voluntary.
I was chatting to head and remarked that we wonder why people don't do clubs if this isnthe thanks you get for trying!

Ironically another mum came to me today and thanked me for netball and asked if they I would be organising any matches. I chuckled, as she shortly followed this by I can help if they need a lift but just don 't know any rules etc so can't help with the other bit!

    Sorry rant over..

Having a treat today because of tax code change.

Awake so thought I'd jot down a few things. On paper this months budget looks fine. Whether in 'real life' it works is another thing.

Had a moaning message on eBay from a newbie that parcel not arrived. Another one of those who did not read when I dispatch. Will wait and see what happens!

Got a huge pile of drying to do so leccy bill will be more this month.

Suppose we had a good weekend as we did a mystery shop. One that the girls like!

    Have a good week all.

Well got home to a Buchanan Clark message on my answer phone.. They are flipping annoying as despite paying my levy bill over two months back they still call but never when I am in.

Paid a few more monthly bits and my DD go out of account tomoz so can do a health check on finances.

Really need to find something to motivate me. I tons to do and do have the time but actually getting up and doing them is another matter. I can't even be bothered to book car boot yet know I'll feel much better when room is cleared

Somehow I have missed budget by about 30 but this is not too bad as I am due some mystery shop money before the final dd goes out mid month.

It is dd1 bday this month so I am asking nuclear family for a token pressie and then saving some for her. Feel it is just stupid buying for the sake of it. Can't decide wether to put in her CTF or open a junior isa. If any one has any thoughts please comment as I have been on the IVA trail for so long I am so out of touch with the saving side. The idea is that once the IVA is through I will also save a small amount for girls a month.

Today I have ha a response to a teaching job I applied for. Really strange as I have to go in for a chat to see them and to see how my subjects would fit in. It's a private school. There was no mention of an interview. So really can't decide if I should brush up my skills etc?

Off to tidy round now as mum coming to babysit while I play netball!

Man, can't wait until tomoz as my last dd goes through so I can work out how much I am out on budget and get some ideas on breaking even.

My car battery is playing up again. I only do really short journeys and I think it has taken its toll. Hope it just needs a good run.

Tons of things I want to do before dd1s bday at end of month. Think I'll list them so that I can check them off . They're in no particular order.
    1. Have a carboot - currently stuff piled in front room so no place to put food out for family tea party for her.
    2. Sew the front room curtains so free up space under bed so can move some boxes around and can tackle next declutter area.
    3. Shelves up in my room - did borrow sis drill but a piece not in box so will have to chase it. This means I can then move stuff from down one side of bed waiting to go on said shelves.
    4. Sort out back yard - a planter needs moving, sis is letting dd1 have a basket ball net. If it's nice people sit out there at tea party. I can handle no plants yet but currently like junk yard.
    5. Finish painting feature wall in living room. Looks a bit wired just having one alcove done especially as red!

Lots more i need to do but fell if I make an endless list I'll think it's not achievable and do nothing!

I was good this week and put the money in labelled bags for things like brownies, netball etc and it was nice to know it was sorted because I'd forgotten and spent the cash in my purse!

Been quite frugal this week but my car battery is playing up again and really think this might be it.

Not done any of my five jobs yet and am drifting of here on the sofa.

    Might have more energy then!

Just clicking thru tab to get dd1s bday pressie from sis and noticed that I had got a £50 payable waiting for me ... So pleased ... Just had to share!
